How to serve

Just add the directed amount for your dog's size to their food once per day. Works with all wet, dry and fresh food.

Small dog (Under 10kg) = 1/2 tsp
Medium dog (10kg - 25kg) = 1 tsp
Large dog (25kg - 40kg) = 1.5 tsp
Extra large dog (Over 40kg) = 2 tsp

For cats, use small dog dosage.

Each tub contains 50 teaspoons of supplement.

Big difference one month in

Our 5 year old spoodle Luna has now been on Updog's Hip and Joint Hero for one month. Luna has hip dysplasia and has already had a hip replacement on one side, so we are doing all we can to try and keep the other hip feeling comfortable and hopefully avoid a second surgery. She already gets six-monthly Synovan injections, and 2 antinol pills daily - but we have noticed a significant difference in her comfort levels since adding Hip and Joint hero to the mix. It's especially noticeable in the mornings, when she is much less stiff after getting up, and is much keener to go for a walk. She has a sensitive tummy, so we have just started her on a half dose - and it's great to see the difference even on that level. Her tum seems to be coping with it fine, so it's also really encouraging to know that if her arthritis does progress in that hip we should be able to increase her to a full dose without any issues. Thanks team! We will be letting our vet know how well it has worked so they can hopefully suggest you as an option for other clients.

How do I feed Hip & Joint Hero to my dog?

Simply mix the recommended serving size into your dog’s food once a day and top with a dash of water. The powder has a mild, earthy taste and blends easily with wet or dry food.

How long until I see the results of Hip & Joint Hero?

Many pet parents notice improvements in their dog's mobility and comfort within 4–5 weeks of consistent daily use. However, remember it's a natural supplement - not medicine - so it's designed for long-term use. It keeps working harder the longer your dog uses it!

Is this product suitable for all dog breeds and sizes?

Yes! All Updog supplements are formulated for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Just follow the feeding guide based on your dog’s weight (available on the packaging or at the top of this page).

How long does one tub last?

That depends on your dog’s size. A 150g tub lasts around approximately:

100 days for small dogs
50 days for medium dogs
33 days for large dogs
25 days for extra-large dogs

Each tub contains 150g of powder, and the daily serving ranges from 2.5g to 10g depending on your dog’s weight.

My dog is unsure about the flavour. Any tips?

This can happen with potent, natural ingredients, particularly if your dog is older or kibble-fed and hasn't used a supplement before.

Some dogs enjoy it mixed with dog peanut butter or natural Greek yoghurt.

Are there any allergens or ingredients I should be aware of?

This formula contains mollusc and crustacean. It also contains bovine chondroitin (derived from the cartilage of cows), so may not be suitable for dogs with beef sensitivities. If your dog has known allergies, we recommend consulting your vet before use.

It is free from gluten, dairy, soy, nuts, and artificial additives.

Can I give this with other supplements or medications?

In most cases, yes. However, the safest option is to check with your vet if your dog is on medication or taking other supplements.
